Mortgage Alliance
Mortgage Alliance is one of Canada’s top mortgage agencies to which it owes its success for its unprecedented customer service and high brand visibility. As Mortgage Alliance quickly pushes forward to becoming one of the top producing mortgage firms across Canada, they needed an online presence to match their stellar reputation.
DT Media worked closely with the marketing and business development staff at Mortgage Alliance to analyze the company’s needs and desires for improving their online presence both visually and to the search engines. After enriching and reorganizing their content into a stunning new interface, the site was launched via the WordPress content management system. With this system in place, Mortgage Alliance staff and administrators have complete control over the website’s content allowing them to make changes on the fly.
The Challenge:
As a progressive company at the fore front of the Canadian lending industry, Mortgage Alliance’s website wasn’t on par with their renowned reputation. Looking to upgrade their user interface and internalize their content updating, they challenged us to re-design and re-build their site in less than 6 weeks. Why such a short deadline? Mortgage Alliance was launching a national advertising campaign and was looking to use the new site as a way to convert their visitors into customers.
In general, the old site was extremely text heavy, confusing to navigate and was also very costly and time intensive to update. It often required a third party support to make even smallest changes.
The Solutions:
Mortgage Alliance approached DT Media for a website design that would be tailored to the customers and clients, as well as the affiliated brokers. DT Media worked closely with Mortgage Alliance to understand deficiencies in their current system and potential opportunities with their new site. The overreaching goal of the new site was to enhance the user experience of both the brokers and customers.
Data Migration:
A large concern was making sure the existing data from the previous site was migrated to the new site with minimal effect on page rank and search engine performance. DT Media successfully implemented enhanced search engine optimization features which produced an even stronger search indexing and page rank.
Usability Improvements:
DT Media also addressed the issue of usability. The previous interface was increased to a resolution of 960px wide accommodating the most common computer monitor sizes and fitting perfectly into the iPad. The site was also enhanced with interactive displays, video content and dynamic content feeds.
Enhanced Content Management: (WordPress)
Enabling the staff at Mortgage Alliance to easily maintain and control the content on of their site has resulted in savings of both time and money. The WordPress content management system allows site administrators to create content, edit it and manage a near limitless amount of content, including pictures and video. Thus, the content is always fresh, accurate and up to date.
Mortgages and Beyond
With a their new site out of the starting gate, Mortgage Alliance is well ahead of the pack and quickly becoming the leading provider of mortgages and mortgage products in Canada. Their newly designed site has been extremely well received amongst their brokers, customers, and administrators. The WordPress content management system put the power back in the hands of the client, ensuring their content is always fresh and up to date requiring no special skills or substantial time investments to keep it that way.
Mortgage Alliances re-built site offers a vastly superior look and feel, while improving search engine recognition and improved users experience and an impressive content management system. Most importantly, the site engages and converts its visitors. Mortgage Alliance wouldn’t accept anything less than a stellar end product and we were happy to step up to the plate and accept the challenge.
